Ever wondered what happens when Johnny goes full Transformer… with a stick?

I went to the park expecting just another walk… but my brain had other plans. The second my boots hit the grass, it felt like I’d spawned into a level. Birds chirping? Ambient soundtrack. Leaves crunching? Footstep SFX. Suddenly, this wasn’t London, Ontario anymore — it was Stage One.

Then I found it: the perfect stick. Not just a branch — Straight-up tree boss beater. I picked it up like the game just flashed “NEW WEAPON ACQUIRED” on screen. That weight in my hands, the balance… yeah, I was in character now.

I took aim at a tree, locked on like it was a boss fight, and launched the stick. The sound FX hit — thunk! — pure arcade satisfaction. If you closed your eyes, you’d swear it was ripped straight from an old cartridge game. The park wasn’t a park anymore. It was my arena.

By the time I left, I wasn’t thinking about paths or benches or real life. I was in that game zone where everything feels possible. The stick respawned, the level reset, and I walked away ready for the next round. Game over? Not even close.

The tree started it.
Throwin’ shade — literally and verbally.
Wind picks up, and suddenly this barkskin’s got opinions.
Leaves rustlin’ like it's laughin’, branches flexin’ like it’s tough.

Johnny don’t play that.

He stared it down and gave it the ol’ arm —
flipped the bird right at its trunk.
But the barkskin just kept talkin’.
Didn’t blink. Didn’t back down.

So Johnny looked down.
Right there, like a gift from nature herself —
one of the tree’s own sticks, layin’ at its feet.

He picked it up.
Snapped it clean in half. Loud. Final.
That shut the tree right up.

No words were spoken.
No apology needed.
Just Johnny… takin’ the bark outta that big talkin’ trunk.
